The media make me angry. Check out THIS picture of Hillary Clinton. They obviously chose a picture in which she looks like she's bumbling, one that could persuade some not to take her seriously. I totally feel that she's been treated unfairly during her campaign, more so than the average political candidate. No way is the media displaying racism against Obama (not that I've seen or heard, anyway), but they seem to think that jokes about Clinton's gender are just fine. When will we see this change?
Anyway. It's been over a week since I've written ---- I shouldn't start on a sour note!
Yesterday was my last day of school with the kids. Monday there's a staff day, but....that's nothing. Adam and I went to a party last night with a lot of the middle school teachers, and it was so much fun. What a celebration ----- and we all so badly need some time to recuperate and gain strength for another year.
I don't know what I'll do today. Maybe nothing, but maybe I'll clean up the porch and plant some more flowers and seeds. We'll see. I love that there's nothing I HAVE to do today.
Happy Saturday!

unfortunately, she gets caught making a lot of silly faces. but i have noticed, too. the media definitely are making it obvious who they'd like to take the lead.
