A Bright Spot

I've spent the last week in sadness over a friend's recent tragedy. I work with him at school, and our students made him a card when they found out. The inside was filled with the sweetest sentiments, many many signatures and promises of prayers --- And on the front, in carefully printed and colorful letters, were these words: "WE'RE SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOST"

I love my students! Perhaps, though, I should teach another unit in grammar :)

There must be some major celestial event going on, everyone I know is going through major loss and pain. I can't wait for this phase to be over.

I'm holding back the former-editor-in-me. :)
