What a great mail day it was! I got my books from
Jennifer -
A Prayer for Owen Meaney,
Letters to a Young Poet, and
Jane Eyre. Thank you, Jennifer. I love them!
I also got this beautiful pendant from
Suzie, as a thank you for the mug I sent her. She designed the pendant to be an inspiration for my writing, and I couldn't have better designed one for myself ----I love the simplicity, the muted colors, the small handwriting in the inside, the solid black beads. Suzie, thank you.

Here's me wearing the pendant
and my new "Gnomies Are My Homies" t-shirt I got from Goodwill today. It's the best shirt I've ever found, I think --- ranks right up there with the "Horrifically Bad Album Covers" book...and that's a tough spot to match.

My time with Erin and Andrea yesterday was fun. We ate Mexican food, drank coffee, ate some more (brownies and pumpkin cookies) and looked at Andrea's scrapbooks of her little boys. Here we are:

Adam and I have been really lucky over the last few days to get to see friends. I saw my friend Jen Schepers on Saturday, along with some other people from college (fellow broomball teammates!), and then that night we played the
Wii with a few other friends. I tried capturing that on camera, but it didn't work so well. The arm movements are so fast! Anyway, it's a fun experience, the Wii. :)
I feel like I've been running around like crazy lately, so it's time for some downtime. I'm reading
Prep right now, and it's one I was instantly sucked into ---- The ones that aren't hard work are always nice!
Happy Tuesday, everyone---

Dear Laura,
Where do I get a Goodwill magic wand like yours?
I'm so jealous (so is Jonathan) of your "fab" new shirt.
Ha. Ha. Ha.
Love,
Natasha
Yay! I'm glad you're reading "Prep." I'm interested to know what you think about it ... I thought it was good but that it got a bit unrealistic and weird toward the middle/end.
Love the shirt, too!
