This is the vase I found last weekend with Natasha, the one she bought for me. And another splash of yellow to add to my house..... It was Daffodil Days last week (to help the American Cancer Society), so I bought this bundle and it has made me happy. Even though it sits in the midst of a ton of crap (including bills and taxes) I've been ignoring, it has made me happy. The smell of them has also reminded me of my freshman year of college, when I used some spray lotion with a daffodil scent. It's amazing that a scent can bring back actual feelings and emotions for me. As soon as my brain made the connection between the smell of daffodils and that time in my life, feelings came flooding in and I recalled small situations I hadn't thought of in years. We are amazing creatures...

I am meeting two friends for lunch/shopping today, one my freshman year roommate (Andrea) and the other a friend I've had since eighth grade (Erin). We've all changed a lot over the years, but it will sure be good to catch up and "get to know each other" again~!
