March: The New July

A high of 75 in March? Crazy. It was literally HOT today---True, not for long, but still. I had to (got to) open the windows. Awesome, except for the fact that it's kind of scary.
Adam's dad, Mike, visited over the weekend. Check out these two handsome devils:

Jessie posted this beautiful picture yesterday and asked us to think, too, about the beauty in our surroundings. I had taken this picture the night before (it's the view across the street, over the lake) and I think it fits the "assignment". --- I really want a tripod, because my night shots are pretty blurry, but I still think it's beautiful. I've always loved sunsets, but lately I haven't been noticing them as much. A shame. Thank you, Jessie, for reminding me to pay closer attention!

holy cats! adam looks like his dad! well, i guess you know what he'll grow up to look like. ;)

and that sunset shot is awesome. there are some beautiful sunrises/sunsets here in minneapolis...but, i swear, they're not as pretty as they are up north. thanks for sharing that little piece of "home." your blog is often the closest link i have to bemidji. you always make me miss it there.

I actually like the blurriness of this shot, gives it more of a painting-feel than a photo. It can be frustrating I know. Always take a deep breath in before the pic and then as you exhale gentle hit the button and exhale the whole time until the pic is done. This helps enormously! I found out that's also how you're supposed to shoot a gun, I much prefer the camera.

They do look alike!
