I did manage to go on a walk, and I just took myself out for a Date today. I went (again) to Book World, and I browsed the children's section like Julia Cameron wants us to do in one of the Divining Rod exercises. Here are the books I read carefully and enjoyed very much:

The best part about this week of "Uncovering a Sense of Resolve" is that I took a small step forward in becoming a more optimistic person. I am happier when I see the colors in my blog, when I read the title. It is an action on my own behalf, and I have hope that it will help me. I had already made the changes to my blog when I read the section from Chapter Six where J.C. is advising of one of her friends, a woman who is admiring people who don't give up, who keep on going despite the odds. "Maybe you just need to resolve to be one of those people," was Julia's reply. I like it. That's what I am trying to do: Resolve to see the positive every day, to focus on kindness and love. So I didn't do many Morning Pages this week....but I did resolve to make an important change (I am going to try) for myself and the people around me.
I have started a new book: The Time Traveler's Wife, recommended by Tanaya. It is incredible so far. I sometimes get frustrated because it is so difficult for me to comprehend something like time travel, but the love story at the heart is what carries this book (not to mention the fine writing)-----. It is very beautiful.
I hope Saturday night is good to all of you!

I see you are a book lover. While I am not following Finding Water much right now (except for morning pages - I love morning pages), I can share the best ever children's book (well, not really, but an excellent one): Tuesday. No words, just pictures. Frogs floating on lily pads everywhere. It's wonderful!
I love Anam Cara. I reread it regularly. There is so much wisdom there.
And I've always heard that what you admire in others is already there in you, you just haven't recognized it yet.
Love your quote on forgiveness. So wonderfully true.
i like your blog's new name!
i'm glad you found some fun books among the children's stories. they're so fun, i think i'll read them more often. :-)
