Christmas already? More than once this season I've teared up, thinking about how a year ago I was pregnant, wondering about the little being inside of me. It's Lew! It was him.

Today I have a day to myself. I lounged around, drinking coffee and looking at the tree lights. I took a long shower, thought about what I was going to wear instead of half-asleep putting something on, and read National Geographic. I got my hair cut, had some wine and food at Brigid's Cross with Adam, ate chocolate and took a bath. Listened to music. What a day! Tonight Lewis will open a present from his Great Aunt Ter, open a stocking gift (a Christmas book), and sleep. Tomorrow we will go to Grand Forks and spend Christmas with Adam's family. How lucky we are for so many loving people in our lives.
