Here we are a couple of weeks ago at Bemidji State Park. Trips are super-crazy when we add Monty into the mix, but hey --- we've got to once in awhile, the poor little doggie. Demoted, for sure, but taking it like a man. He's been so good to Lewis. It really is like he knows, knows that Lewis is special, that he is another one of Monty's "people". How precious.

I did get to work in my garden last night! I took some pictures but still need to upload them, so I'll share tomorrow the beautiful red flowers (verbena) I planted, and the way everything is getting so much bigger/fuller. The rain has been amazing as far as the gardens go.

We got new windows put in today, too! Lots going on. Our bedroom and Lewis's got them, and it's already so fantastic to be able to -- open the windows. Sounds simple. One of those things you take for granted, I guess, because we haven't been able to open them since the fall. But now ---- glorious.

Four days until my Florida trip! I haven't even mentioned it, I now realize. Maybe because I'm scared to death of it just as much as I'm excited.... ! I'm taking Lewis to meet my grandma, his Great-Nana Grace. I'm traveling with my mom and RaeAnn ---- will be wonderful.
Big, Probably Obvious Concern: I'm taking Lewis on a plane. God. Does anyone have any advice or tips for me?
