Here's the doggie waiting not-so-patiently for his food. He sits (and he insists on sitting on the rug) until one of us says "okay" in this really high, eager tone of voice - it's basically the only thing we've been able to train him to do.
And here's him still waiting. Notice - in case you haven't already - the drool. :) Yeah, he's pretty gross. Not to deflect my poor housekeeping skills completely onto him, but...he's a big reason why the house is pretty gross a lot of the time. (Example: Look at this mug, and then imagine him shaking his whole body wildly. Where does the drool go? Most of us have seen Beethoven, so I guess it's not a difficult question. Especially for anybody else who has a dog.)

he is so adorable, drool and all : )
Yeah, the drool issue is one of the reasons I'm okay for now with not having a dog right now. Not that cats putting their butts on everything are actually any better. Just less visible.
But I've been starting to want a dog more lately, and these pictures are making me feel that again.
I hear ya on the whole dog making the house dirty issue. We've decided that our next dog will be an outside/kennel dog. It's sad, but true. We love our puppy, but once we had the baby, she became a dog. She's no longer our "baby." She had quite a rude awakening!
Are you feeling better? Evan still has "the crud." Ugh.
Have a good weekend,
Melissa
OMG, he is so funny and cute! Yes, that's not the most attractive thing to see in some ways but those eyes! What a character he is.
