Inspired by a series of paintings by Jessie, I created this yesterday afternoon. I tried it out in about eleven different spots in the kitchen but nothing looked right, so here is where it ended up going:



I decided awhile ago that the laundry/garbage area needed spicing up, so I'd already put up a hanging postcard chain that Adam and I bought in Florida. This spot feels right for my new painting. What better time to be thankful for a "normal day" than when you're taking out a disgusting bag of garbage or washing dirty towels?!
