though I will write this: If you enjoy reading and haven't read The Shipping News, you must add it to your list! Wow, can this woman (Annie Proulx) tell a story. Her descriptions, her sentences (many fragments, which actually turned me off the first time I tried to read it)--- It just all makes me feel like I'm IN this guy's life. It's funny how one time I put it down and thought it wasn't a book for me, yet now I can't stop reading it. Thank God for books. I guess certain ones come to us at just the right time---.
