I know everyone has seen pictures just like these, but I'm posting them because my brother took them----This is how close to the bridge he lives and works. I called him right away last night, of course, and thank God he was just at home making dinner or something. But he did say he had walked right under that bridge earlier in the day----It all is just so eerie and upsetting.

So glad Matt's alright. It seems we all know someone who used that bridge regularly... what a tragic reminder of how short our lives actually are.

My brother lives within 2 miles as well, and he called to let us know he is alright. The stories and the waiting...
Thank God he is okay! We called all of our family in the area as well. How many times have we been on that bridge??? So many, and we don't even live in Mpls. I keep praying that the number of victims will be low.
