Before we left for our trip, I threw a bunch of tools on Monty's bed---and I've yet to clean them off so he can hang out with us in the office! He found a spot in the new living room, though----- ! This living room...I'm so happy. We still need to paint and do trim work, but here it is. I was nervous about exactly how the floor would look since we couldn't see the whole thing, only corners when we'd lift up the carpet--- Also, we had a window put in (the smaller one by the blue ball) because it was so dark in that corner....I can't believe what a difference it makes. It's all very exciting.
I have so many more pictures I could put up and stories I could tell---During our week in the Cities, Adam and I were fortunate to see many good friends; I don't even know where to begin recounting the visits! All I will say is that I feel very, very blessed to have all of you in my life. Thank you, everyone we saw, for being so generous with your time. We had a great week. --

Wow! Your living room looks spectacular! And your grandma does too. I can't believe that she is even smaller than you. Dang! You both look great! :)
Oh Laura - you're living room is going to gorgeous!!! Wow, what a transformation. And those floors are original??? If so, they make up for the headache of the wall!
Hugs!
