I cannot believe how excited I am that it's about to storm. I'm giddy. I've talked and talked about how much it needs to rain, but I guess I just haven't believed that it would happen. I heard thunder a couple of minutes ago, and I thought I was imagining things---But no. And the smell! I just stood in the kitchen, my nose to the screen, and it's so pungent! I really love this, except that I'm afraid Monty will pee somewhere, he's so upset. He's not usually been so freaked out about storms, but...I guess we haven't had one in awhile, plus this place is still new to him.
Adam and I chose a bed today! We've been sleeping on my great-grandma's for the last four years, and it was time for a change forty years ago. Another exciting development, except that it might as well be a new used car..... Damn monthly payments. But, there's a thunderstorm. That makes it okay.
Happy Friday!

Aren't the things that make up spring and summer wonderful? I, too, love fresh cut grass and thunderstorms. So far, we haven't had a good storm here, but they say that will be changing this weekend. Josh cut our grass tonight, and our lilacs are wafting throughout the yard. Life is good!
Also, it took me a while, but I finally posted a response to your tag! Enjoy. :p
Hey Laura!
We just had a massive thunderstorm last night! It was wonderful. And the thick, heavy raindrops - love them! Although I don't like running outside during a heavy rain! But, it did bring me back to walking back to Maple after A & W on our last day freshman year - what wonderful memories!
