Adam and I have been into our new house already, and we are trying to get one room finished before we move in----- So, we've been stripping wallpaper in the bedroom, scrubbing the walls, putting on primer... We've been lucky to have our friend Devin in town (he's student teaching at Red Lake and so is riding with us--) because he knows so much about home repairs, etc. Plus, he's a great, great person. Anyway, so this is why I haven't written much this week. It's ten now and we just got back, after being up and moving since five this morning. The upside: we're bound to sleep well tonight!
I hope all is well with everyone :)

I like that, "The good kind of tired." I'm not sure that's what I am these days, but I'll go with it! Congratulations on your new home! I remember those days in our first house in New Ulm. I LOVED that old house, and I was sad to leave it when we moved. Isn't it gratifying to put some real elbow grease into a place in order to make it your own? I'm excited for you guys. You'll have to post pictures when you're done!
Keep up the good work, and enjoy your hard work knowing that you're that much closer to "home." :)
Laura! I can't believe you guys are already working on your house!!! You should feel proud of yourselves for removing wallpaper. It's a great metaphor, huh? What a process that can be. Enjoy yourselves.
the best kind of tired for sure :)
have a fabulous weekend!!
