The Weekend

My mom and dad came to visit today. It was so nice to see them, nice to eat good food and laugh like crazy over the "horrifically bad" album covers book. Dad brought stew meat and steak from one of the several deer he and Matt got this year, and Mom brought clothes from my cousin Kelly that are so cute. It was like Christmas. :)
Yesterday was fun, too. Jonathan and Natasha came to visit (that's us in the first picture, when we were in St. Paul a couple of weeks ago), and we all spent the day together--- Adam and Jonathan played XBOX pretty much the entire time, and Natasha and I went antique shopping, had coffee and went to the "Kiss Me, Kate" play at BSU. Because I was busy all weekend, I find myself needing to do a whole lot of work for school this week when I'd really like to just relax. My gosh, I hope I get some energy back soon. I know what I need to do---Exercise, eat better (what? pizza and cheese/crackers every day aren't making me feel energetic?), and work on balancing my time better. Friday, for example, could have been a productive day---But who can do work on a snow day off of school? I think I read somewhere that it is illegal.
I want to get through some lesson planning and then start reading Chapter Three of Finding Water. I will post some thoughts about the book tomorrow.
Happy Sunday night :)

That's so great you had so much fun with your family and hope that you get some time to rest and be creative again soon.

What's that? Jonathan and Adam OUTSIDE? Where's the xbox? Where's the beer?
