Ten Things I Cherish About My Life Right Now

1. There is a technical college and a university (on a lake) in my city.
2. My husband and I teach at the same school and can share the experience (plus we can carpool).
3. The house we are renting has a nice yard and is on a hill between two lakes, and it is within walking distance of downtown Bemidji.
4. I live about two hours one way from my family and two hours the other from Adam's.
5. I have a bathtub surrounded by candles, a lamp, incense and plenty of good books. If I use this, it will calm me.
6. I have a Basset Hound that loves me, makes me laugh, and is so full of spunk that I am never bored at home.
7. I have a job with students who make sure I am never bored at work!
8. My kitchen window is framed in red Christmas lights, and there is a lamp on the window ledge. Through the window there is a snow-covered tree.
9. Shelves full of books line my living room walls, and my extra couch makes a cozy little reading corner where I love to curl up.
10. I am being connected with many amazing people through technology (which I used to say I hated!)
