Funk: to become frightened and shrink back; to shrink from undertaking or facing.
I'm getting sick already of seeing the picture of myself up---the PopCam colors are too much for me today. I didn't know what I felt like writing, though, because I'm in this funk. Because I'm funking? Anyway, a quote given to me from a dear friend came into my mind, and I'd love to share it:
"Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets. So love the people who treat you right, forget about the ones who don't, and believe that everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said that it'd be easy, they just promised that it would be
worth it."
Sweet dreams, everyone. :)

the funk seems to be going around. but if it makes you feel any better, those popcam photos are a great antidote for the funky monster.
ps.
thank you for the words you left on my blog today. they mean a lot coming from you because i often think that we are in a very similar situation...being ever so slightly PLAGUED by the "t"-word, that is. i'm glad that you have this blog and that you're blogging the finding water book...because you and i make for a dang good support system if necessary. and i think it's necessary! :)-
pss.
i want to inject that quote into my molecules. i wonder if that's possible?
sweet dreams, dear.
lots of love,
j.
What a beautiful quote, I love it. I've been struggling with the regrets of my health challenges and this helped a great deal. I keep struggling to prove my life is worthy but I think it would be better to accept my situation and enjoy it. Thank you Laura. I hope you are out of your funk soon!
