Every year I say it, but how fast the Christmas season has gone. Everyone was right who said time goes by much more quickly as we get older....and that we shouldn't wish away our childhoods.
Our street looks beautiful, though a bit haphazard in the decorating. Our side of Gemmel is loaded with lights: the blue, green and white pile on our little tree out front, the multi-colored flashing tree our neighbors have, a fiber optic one in an old lady's window....and then nothing until about seven houses down, where there is a wire, spiraly tree lit in red. I love walking through all of them, and then the darkness. It's a very nice contrast.

Vinny and I drove past your street on our way out of town and I wanted to see you so bad I felt like rolling down my window and yelling:
LAAAUUUUURRRRRRAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!
I wish we would have had more time. I would have called your for coffee. Instead you'll just have to know that I was thinking about you.
ps.
I love the photo of Paul and Babe! Oh--home sweet home!
