Randomness

Some of these pictures make me nostalgiac for grass. Already. First major snowstorm of the year today..... . It was really quite bad, driving from RL to Bemidji, but it could've been because I didn't make sure to get all of the ice off my wipers before I left. I think ice would've found its way onto them anyway, though, but regardless............. I spent most of the hour+ drive either on my tiptoes or leaned waaaaaaay over to the right, peering through tiny little spaces where there weren't plates of ice on the windshield. Stressful.

The pictures ---- . One is of my mom and me at the beginning of October, at a Franciscan retreat in Prior Lake. It's wonderful there, and we (my aunt was with us, too) had a great time. Another pic is of a strange row of mushrooms that showed up in our front yard. The photograph doesn't do the system justice...........there must've been thirty of them. Odd, but cool.

I'm praying for good weather Thursday, as I'm sure many of us are who need to travel. Seems sketchy, though, so.......we'll see.
