I am so excited that Al Franken is still in the Senate race, with what looks like a pretty good chance. I guess I'll have to put my yard sign back up -- !
It's the last day of school for us before Christmas. Of course I am beyond excited. And then we have Jonathan's visit to look forward to tonight, and hanging out with Khel tomorrow, and then some relaxing before we head to Grand Forks next week. We had an early Christmas celebration with my family a couple of weeks ago (pictures coming as soon as I load the program into this computer---). It's nice to know we aren't doing as much traveling this year, though I'll miss being with my family on Christmas Eve/Christmas Day. We have so many beloved traditions that, for a few years now, I've missed out on. But there are new traditions, and good memories, so I am very, very fortunate.
Happy Friday, Everyone!

I don't think that Franken would have had a chance if Coleman hadn't run such slimy ads. Coleman was a decent Senator, although I lean toward the other party, but he made his own problems in the campaign. Then when he changed his tune, it was so calculated. Then his ads were so whiny, never giving a positive reason to vote for him.
May you travel safely this season! Merry, Merry! and Blessings.
