Behold: Monty's baby picture, the one Adam and I based our decision on...He was the same old "gummers" that he is now. That look on his face!
He's been carrying his "birthday bone" in and out of the house - he won't let it out of his sight. What a crazy, silly little dope :)
He provides comic relief at the end of a most stressful week. One of the reasons I'm very grateful to have him.

Cute. I had to look at the picture twice before I could tell it was a puppy picture. Most dogs' ears get proportionally smaller in adulthood...but not Monty's. :D

Monty is adorable! I had a basset hound growing up, so they hold a special place in my heart. :)
