Thanksgiving Weekend

Here's the sweet little kitty, Lucy. She is so playful and friendly, and already - after only a week - she is very much at home and comfortable around everyone. I miss our cat Tabby a lot, the cat we had for over fifteen years and who died two years ago around this time. But my mom has missed having pets, and she felt it was time to have a new one, so--- . A good addition to our family.

Here is my mom, who always makes being home so wonderful. So does my dad, but he refused to be in any pictures. I tried to make a deal with him: let me take his picture OR play Catch Phrase with us. However, no deal was made. :)

Here are Adam and my brother, Matt. They too tended to avoid the camera, so I got a lot of pictures like this or goofy ones in which Matt was making some sort of face. In this one the guys are pointing to the hay they helped Dad put over our pipes in case there's no snow again like last year - the pipes froze last year.

But, a rare one where they let me take a picture and they were actually kind of serious. I guess it's a serious situation when two men are doing the dishes :)
Just kidding. And when I said something of this sort, Adam retorted with, "Yeah, but don't you do the dishes like, once a week?"
True. Ok. Although lately I've been trying harder.

Anyway, this is my family and I love them dearly. It was a really, really nice weekend.
