If I had to choose a theme for the weekend, it would be Babies, and the word would be mesmerizing. At dinner with David (Adam's best friend) and Rachel and their daughter, Allison, "mesmerizing" was the word we used when we realized nobody had spoken for a long time; we were all just gazing at this adorable little girl who kept stretching and frowning once in awhile and looking at us groggily before falling back to sleep in Adam's arms. Absolutely precious.
(The bottom two pictures are of Allison and Adam, [and my brother in the middle one] and the top baby is one I saw at the Como Park Conservatory and couldn't help but photograph...)
Our weekend visits were wonderful. I can't believe how much Adam and I needed to get away for awhile, even if we're exhausted tonight...! I'm grateful that we got to see so many people in our short time, and I can't wait to schedule another trip so I can see people I didn't see this time, too--- Thank you to everybody who helped make our time so worthwhile.
I don't even know where to start in describing all the things we did, but I guess my highlight would be eating sushi at Saji Ya and having wasabi toasts. Definitely memorable!
I finally finished planning for class tomorrow and doing the necessities around the house, so now I need to relax. Even though I picked up a few incredible books today, and I still need to write about my feelings on Finding Water (I've read the first chapter and love it, so I'll write tomorrow---), I think I need a movie tonight. Something easy. :)

I hope you enjoy Finding Water. I wish I could also participate! I'm glad you had a full and great weekend. I finally got your pendant varnished and will work on the necklace this week, I'm so excited! I'm finally finding time for creative stuff.
