Happy Halloween!

Lew just woke up so this won't be as long as I'd like, but ------- it's a good day. I have my pink hair on, Adam is upstairs with his friends watching the Vikings hopefully not lose, Monty's being neurotic and there's an OBnoxious screaming ghost hanging in our front yard and yelling out every other minute, "TRICK OR TREAT! BWAA HA HA HA. BOOOO! GRRRRR.". Or a variation of that with a Happy Halloween thrown in.

We were Team Zissou from The Life Aquatic this year. Adam, Jonathan and I went out to dinner and then bowling Friday night - Lew even got dressed up for the occassion. If you haven't seen the movie, check it out ....... I think it's awesome. Lew was also a pumpkin. Kind of a typical baby Halloween costume, but I found it at Goodwill so had to take advantage. He napped in it today, anyway, which is good since we won't be going trick-or-treating this year. He's had fun, though. He and my mom came up to see me in RL Friday, so he got to see where I work and meet my students. They were so good and sweet with him! And Lewis ------ what an easy-going baby. Was passed around probably a hundred times, to kids with painted faces and costumes, and he didn't even bat an eye. Just wide-eyed and taking it all in.
