I was just messing around with my camera (covering the flash on this one) - how cool is this picture?!
What a great day it's been. I woke up at 5:00 and couldn't get back to sleep, but I decided to take an early-morning bath and it was marvelous. After the 5:00 wake-up, Lew slept until 7, so I had some nice alone time. Adam, Lew and I went to The Cabin later on, and through a fortuitious series of events, I ended up at the Billy Collins reading/poetry "maneuvers" discussion. I haven't felt this energized in awhile, after hearing poetry and theory from such a tremendous poet, and then getting to shake his hand after he signed my book. A good day. Very good. Heading for a walk now in the beautiful fall weather. So glad to have a relaxing weekend.

Oh, I'm glad to hear you got to see Billy Collins. When I heard he was going to be in northern MN I went out and bought one of his books. So good. Hope you and your family are well.
