I really like the idea of blogging every day, whether with just a photo or a sentence or a story or whatever. A joke. An excerpt. But something. Now more than ever I am amazed by how fast time goes, and I want to be stopping often enough to appreciate all that's going on. For now ---- a short re-cap:


I went home last weekend for Timberdays. It was great to see my family, watch Matt play in the softball tournament, see old friends, go out and dance, and get together with a baby very close to Lewis's age! Melissa and I had the same due date, though Marin was born two weeks earlier than Lewis. Melissa and Josh brought Marin over to my parents' house, and Erin and Bill met us all there. It was really nice to catch up a little.

Today Adam and I brought Monty and Lewis to the state park. It was a nearly perfect time, except for the mosquitoes and a daddy longlegs that I accidentally smashed while I was eating. All else was fantastic. It's so green there! I love that there's such a place so close.
