I'm so amazed at these Before and After photos, I'm not even embarrassed that this is my bathtub. The only cleaning products Adam and I used were vinegar and baking soda - (and tools to pry/scrape off the old caulk and glue -- which really was very difficult to do). We finally got around to this project for Adam's page on cleaning mildew....and I'm so glad we did! It's like a brand-new tub.
Yay, vinegar! (oh, and baking soda worked really well with baby lotion to remove the caulk from Adam's hands - -)

Nice. Vinegar is good stuff--I use it to clean almost everything.
It's incredible. Talk to Verdella about how to use it to clean windows, too--all the cleaning products used at the motel are more-or-less homemade. Good stuff!
The vinegar--my constant companion in the laundry room and kitchen cleaning.
WORD TO YOUR MOTHERS!!!
Sweet!
Happy first day back!
love you!
Thank you, Laura. Hope you're having a good week, too.
I'm assuming you didn't mix the two Laura? I use baking soda all of the time! It has amazing exfoliating properties and can take the smell out of anything, I love it. I use it more than vinegar actually.
Way to go! That transformation is astounding and must feel so much better now.
Thank you for the compliment Laura, I always feel better by the ocean, I'm glad that it shows in the pic.
Do you guys get orange stains in your bathtub from your water? We do, so I was wondering if the vinegar and baking soda took those out. I'll definitely have to try it! Sounds like it's going to be a great article.
