Nighttime Notes

A few exciting things in the last few days:
1) The Celtics won the NBA Championship! Besides the fact that I really like Kevin Garnett, I feel a connection to the Celtics because my dad absolutely loves Larry Bird. Kind of cool that, years later, I'm watching this same team.
2) I went to see Little Shop of Horrors at The Paul Bunyan Playhouse. Very impressive performance.
3) I'm almost done with the porch. Pictures tomorrow, hopefully.
4) With the best coupons EVER, I got pizza rolls yesterday. Today I got some Gogurt and a Totino's Party Pizza or whatever they're called. It was all FREE, except for like thirty five cents.
5) My stimulus check did --- not come. I'm starting to feel really pathetic, constantly on the lookout for the mailman.
6) I am going to Florida in a few days! It's extremely hot there right now, but I'll be with my mom and my grandmother, and we'll be near the ocean. It will be wonderful.
7) I've been making food. Yesterday I made my first apple-rhubarb crisp, and today I made home fries and eggs. And oatmeal this morning. --- And a Totino's Party Pizza for lunch. :)

Ok. I think it's time for me to get some sleep! Sweet dreams, all.

Amazing culinary adventures you have been on, I have never heard of apples and rhubarb together, fascinating!

Enjoy Florida and your trip Laura. :)

Adam went to General Mills with the Red Lake students in April. GM put out a cookbook called "Taste of Red Lake", so they had the kids down for a tour. The coupons game in a great big gift bag of stuff.

Eric just got his stimulus check this past week while we were on vacation. And according to his SSN, he was somewhere in the middle of the line. So keep watching for the mailman, pathetic or not.
