For awhile I felt nervous about how some people might react to these bumper stickers - I don't want to offend or upset anyone. But then I thought about how none of these is insulting to any one person, or group of people (like "Friends Don't Let Friends Vote Republican" and "Impeach Bush" (though...!). I don't want to be overtly mean. But the ones Adam and I chose just put more viewpoints out there, something that almost feels - in the face of our media conglomerates - like a moral duty . ----- Some people might read a couple of these and assume that I am a subversive, or that I do not love my country. This is so far from the truth --- . I believe that practicing our right to free speech/expression is very patriotic, even (maybe especially) if we're questioning our leadership, making sure they're doing their job to protect and take care of all of us.....
Maybe it means we believe that America can someday live up to what, in all of its power and responsibility and promise, it stands for -

I like those! Excellent choices.
They really show that we get trapped into one way of thinking, don't they?
That is what free speech is all about Laura, you go girl!
Woohoo! I also take great care in choosing what I want to "say" with stickers. My car has one, but my bike has many.
