I put in an order to Northern Sun tonight. Finally a new catelog in the mail corresponded with us actually having some extra money in our checking account. We got some new bumper stickers for our car (a difficult task, in fact, for Adam and I to both agree to what we'll display on our shared vehicle), and I got some buttons for my purse. One of them reads, "Minimum Wage for Politicians." I like that.
On another note, Adam randomly Googled his name tonight and discovered that he holds the record in East Grand Forks for most three pointers made and also for the three-point field goal percentage (in basketball). That was in 1999-2000. Very cool. This is exactly what he needed...... It's so easy to feel successful in high school when you have all of these opportunities to feel like you can do something... . In the real world, it certainly takes a hell of a lot more. I'm proud of him, and I'm happy that he's been boosted up even just a little by this.
Happy Wednesday, everyone. Happy belated Earth Day, too.

Cool catalog site. I like the one about end of an error. I've never felt this strongly about something political.
I saw KW today, one of my favorite people. Did she tell you that some of the roads in this hometown are under water? And it is supposed to rain!
I love that bumper sticker! LOL. It's so true that in our early years it's easier to stand out but as an adult we can get lost in the masses.
If you're ever over to my part of the planet I'd love to have you visit Laura! You would love the fishing villages and the salt of the earth culture very much. And the stories?! No one in the world can "spin a yarn" more than Nova Scotians.
I google myself once in a while. Always good to see what's being said about you.
Sounds like Adam was quite the accomplished athlete. Always good for the ego. :)
