Happy New Year!

I love the feeling of a brand new year even more than I love a brand new day. So many possibilities and questions and time for new experiences. Just like many others, I suppose, I am saying goodbye to 2007 with joy and sorrow---the year was good, and it was not-so-good. I'm ready for changes, in both myself and my day-to-day life.

On Sunday I was fortunate to be able to see my dear friend Melissa. She lives in Boston and doesn't get home much, and I do appreciate that she saved some time for me! This year will also be one filled with more visits with friends, I hope---I'm just feeling very grateful for everyone in my life and I want to make more of an effort to keep in closer touch.
