I really love the snow we're getting. I missed it last year.
I have been paging through my journal tonight, through old entries. It's amazing the new perspective I have on something I wrote a few months ago and didn't reflect on or think twice about -- . I'm glad I read through my old words from time to time, because I appreciate them now and I learn from them.
October 4, 2007: It makes sense to continue in an "old" journal, one filled with self-pity and anger and scribbled-out pages, tears and folds and blood stains from a cut on my finger. Why not? That's how I've got to do it in real life. I don't get a brand-new, never-before-touched slate, not a shiny fresh book with all pages clean. But I get a new day. I get a fresh, white sheet in this journal. --- I can do it. It helps, anyway, to remember where we're coming from.
.......
It's just kind of hard to know where to start.
