Christmas

It's been such a wonderful week spent with family. Here are some pics:

It was a pretty quick trip home, so this is actually the only one I got of the time with my family. The cat has gotten spunkier, so that was fun. Plus, we played a bunch of games of Speed and ate lots of food.

Adam and his brother, Aaron, were both sick during the time we were in Grand Forks. Notice in each picture how Adam either looks legitimately sick or is trying to look as sick as he possibly can... :)

The kids with their father, Mike - . We ate lunch at Ground Round, and Aaron's girlfriend, Anna, was our waitress. She did a very nice job!

Jess and me. I dyed my hair purple for the break. It's been fun, but now it looks less like purple and more like a really, really bad red dye job. It washes out in 8-10 shampoos, though, so it's almost gone.

Jess and her boyfriend, Joseph. Don't they look like they could be in an Old Navy commercial or something?!

Adam and his Grandpa Chuck.

Connie and her poor, poor son. :)

Jessica is good at Halo 3. I enjoyed watching them play, and I was happy to be off the hook. (I do like some XBox games, just not this one. yet---!)

Our friends Laurie and Pete stopped over on Christmas Day, on their way out of town. We had such a nice visit, and Laurie did shiatsu on Adam to help him feel better. A very wonderful gift---.

We got home last night, and we've basically just been trying to adjust to not being constantly on the move! Adam's still very sick, and I'm trying hard (thanks to Zicam) to keep my cold at bay. Also, I'm looking forward to settling in to read some of the books I've chosen for the break.

I hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas! Happy Friday :)

Hi Laura -

It looks like you two had a great holiday. I hope Adam feels better soon. I love that you, Erin and I all posted pics with our siblings. Just goes to show how very important family is!!!

Have a WONDERFUL new year - and I love the "bad dye job" :) How fun is that!!! I wish I would have been able to see it when it was purple!
