I am off to Day One of summer curriculum planning. I'm not excited about it because I really need a break, but----At least there's the stop at Bob Lowth Ford beforehand to pick up my spirits.
:(
Apparently, as we learned from another place when we dropped off the car for an alignment, the brand new, expensive tires we put on in November are "shot". So now we have to try to figure out why, and get the new ones replaced, hopefully without paying for all of it. If the Ford guys are professionals, they should've spotted something wrong with our car as they were putting these tires on - something that was going to affect the tires. But they didn't. So I really hope they own up to it----- New tires shouldn't be worn out after six months.

Grrr.

In other news...Adam's best friend David, David's girlfriend Rachael and their baby are coming to visit this weekend! Our first visitors~! They are prepared for the chaos that is our house, and they still want to be here, so that's great. I'm excited.

I hope all of you have a good day.

I'm sorry to hear about the tires! Cars can be such a huge expense. When we lived on a mountain we had to get our brakes fixed and replaced all the time. You just never know...

I hope you have fun with your first house guests! I bet you're great hosts.
