Does Anyone Else Think This Is Weird?

Okay.
Yesterday I bought "tecnu" and "calagel" for the wicked poison oak that is spreading up my arm.
Today I read this on the side of the box:
"tecnu: outdoor skin cleanser for poison oak, ivy and nuclear fallout."
...
"engineered by Dr. Robert Smith as an effective waterless cleanser capable of removing radioactive dust from skin and clothing."

Great. Like I'm not paranoid enough these days.

In response to your post on my blog :) Do you think your district is more "open minded" rather than "liberal"? That's the word I always used for my district. They really were quite "open" to what us teachers had to say and what we felt was important! Thanks for the response :)

I wonder if it's clinically proven to remove radioactive dust?

Anyway, check out this website: http://www.tecnuextreme.com/experts.htm

I thought it might be a cold war thing, but I think it's funny that its real-life use was pretty much an accidental discovery. Like his wife thought, now that we don't have to worry about nuclear bombs, what the hell are we going to use all this stuff for?
