I was tagged by Natasha, so----here goes.
Start with eight random facts/habits about yourself. Tag eight more people to blog their own eight things.
1. I was born in Polson, Montana ten days before Mt. St. Helens erupted in Washington. The ash fallout reached so far, Mom and Dad had to keep my face covered when I was outside.
2. One of my eyes is near-sighted and the other is far-sighted...And if I get too tired (and I'm not wearing my glasses) I go cross-eyed.
3. My first pet was a parakeet named Ernie. I loved that bird so much I drew pictures of him in every entry of my First Communion book. I wrote more about that bird than I wrote about members of my family that second-grade year.
4. The only thing I've ever stolen was a frosty pink lipstick from my town's Co-op when I was about ten. I felt so bad about it that, a couple of years later, I flung it as far as I could into our field.
5. When we were young, my brother and I ate Skittles in our yard and called them "power pills" and truly felt like superheroes. The red ones were worth the most power points.
6. I walked into one of my orthodontist appointments (in middle school) chewing bubble gum. I got lectures from the receptionist, two of the hygienists and - of course - my orthodontist.
7. I really love the movie Wizard with Fred Savage. I also really, really love The Wonder Years.
8. The first time I tried beer, I mixed it with milk.
So now I get to tag some people. Even though I don't know if they'll want to do this (but it is kind of fun...!), I will tag Andrea, Tanaya, Suzie, Jessie, Melissa, Erin, Anna, and Tiffany.
I hope everyone's having a good Monday night.

MILK?!
Sweet Jesus I don't even want to know what that tastes like.
P.S. I've been wanting to watch The Wonder Years lately (I loved that show when I was younger) -- I think I might have Jonathan try to download it.
ok...those are some seriously random facts! :)- and thanks for the tag. i'll list my own randomness soon.
hope you're getting nice and settled into your new house. i am so excited for you. i've been thinking about you lots! :)
Hey, I can just picture that orthodontist. Sad story there. N went to him too.
Oh my god. The Wizard. With Fred Savage. For a while, I tried to tell other kids that was my favorite movie, and everyone said, "Do you mean The Wizard of Oz?" No. I don't.
That was actually the first time I experienced a crush so intense, it distracted me from everything else I tried to do. When I was 8, Fred Savage was the man of my dreams.
I played.
