The quote I found for today reminds me of something my mom put up in both my bedroom and my brother's when we were growing up. It was a simple white piece of paper, with these words printed neatly in black marker: What I am to be, I am now becoming. I saw it again when I was home last weekend, still on Matt's wall. Mine must be up, too, though I didn't check for sure. What a wonderful gift from a mother----. Mom is always doing this, giving gentle encouragement and advice and inspiration. I do think seeing this sign every day when I was younger helped me - at least a little bit - make the good choices I made. I hope I can do the same for my children some day.
