For Chapter Two of Finding Water, we are to find an image to represent our "inner critic", the voice that tells us our writing isn't good enough---- It is supposed to be a cartoon character, because that lessens the critic's power, but Scott Farkus (the bully from the movie A Christmas Story) popped into my mind instantly and I have to use him. I keep picturing him at the end, crying his eyes out, lying on the ground, completely overwhelmed by Ralphie's kick-ass assertiveness. ---- Perfect.

what is this from? I'm intrigued!
Very Good....you've sent your critic off crying.
Oh he's the perfect archetype of a bully isn't he? I can just hear him screeching that. I hope you beat him up just like Ralfy did!
Wow, what a powerful image. Excellent. K
