
With a journal I received for Christmas, I made myself a book of health. I covered it with quotes and a sticker of this Munch picture, "Woman on the Verandah". In the book, I want to write one thing I do each day that nurures my body, mind and soul. Here are today's three:
- I took a (very chilly) walk with my dog.
- I read some articles in a TIME magazine.
- I wrote a letter to a friend who is angry with me.
I am hoping that my quest to be healthy will be easier if I break it down into small, achievable parts. What I usually try to do is wake up and do everything "right", then feel disappointed in myself when I do something "wrong".
Here is a quote from the cover of my book, one by Mother Teresa:
"Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier."
